Background: On September 23, 2026, the Nanjing Enterprises Going Global to Egypt Cooperation and Exchange Meeting was held in Nanjing. The Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt and the Deputy Governor of Giza Governorate led a delegation to attend and connect with more than 50 Nanjing foreign economic and trade enterprises, specialized and sophisticated enterprises, and outbound service institutions, including Sumec and Aijin Group. From January to August this year, Nanjing's exports to Egypt reached RMB 1.17 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4%.
