The Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) built by the Nantong Intellectual Property Protection Center has been approved for operation and officially incorporated into the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) global service network, the first in central and northern Jiangsu. Relying on the national-level intellectual property protection center, the center has a total of 190 million patent records, covering more than 170 countries and regions worldwide, and has formed a patent pre-examination framework around four major industry sectors: intelligent manufacturing equipment, modern textiles, new materials, and next-generation information technology.
The opportunity lies in: TISC has built a three-tier network of "basic services—advanced services—professional services," providing innovation entities with full-chain services including basic search, business consulting, specific search, technology monitoring, competitor monitoring, early warning and navigation, analysis and evaluation, advanced training, and intellectual property trusteeship, and can work with district intellectual property bureaus to promote services "into enterprises and parks," reaching deep into science parks, industrial parks, and specialized industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises. During the preparation period, it has held 20 public welfare training sessions with more than 8,000 participants, provided database search services 7,509 times, served 2,067 enterprises, precisely served 153 industry leaders and key science and technology innovation enterprises, and issued 74 various patent information analysis reports.
