The World Bank-funded Health Security Program in Western and Central Africa (Project ID P179078, Credit TF-C4266) has made US$29.00 million available to Cabo Verde, part of which will finance an individual consultant to train 45 national technicians and inspectors (22 women, 23 men) in ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection at slaughterhouses, plus slaughter and inspection techniques in food processing establishments. The assignment is expected to run 40 consecutive days from contract signing. This is a competitive individual consultant selection open to qualified professionals: a minimum bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine, a master's, postgraduate degree or specialization in public health or food/animal product inspection, and experience in similar assignments. Interested consultants should submit a signed Letter of Interest and updated CV with descriptions of similar assignments, experience and contact references, quoting notice 058/HSP/CCIP/2026. Terms of Reference are available from the implementing agency CCIP or at Concursos - UGPE.
