As a national-level development zone, Jiaxing Economic Development Zone has attracted more than 820 foreign-invested enterprises from 45 countries and regions, including 42 Fortune Global 500 investment projects. From January to August 2026, actual utilized foreign capital reached 314 million USD, a year-on-year increase of 99.9 percent, ranking first in the city in both total volume and growth rate. The park is currently shifting from "production landing" to "innovation clustering," with a focus on encouraging foreign-invested enterprises to extend investment toward high-end R&D and technological innovation.
The opportunity lies in the Phase II technology achievement transformation plot of the Sino-German Industrial Park: with a total building area of nearly 200,000 square meters, it has completed intermediate structural acceptance and is expected to be completed and operational by May 2027. It will focus on undertaking pilot-scale R&D and transformation of various sci-tech innovation projects.
