The 2026 ICF Dragon Boat World Cup opened on September 25 in Yuanling County, Hunan Province. This is the first time an ICF-sanctioned international Class A event has been held in Hunan, with 24 dragon boat teams and over 500 athletes from 16 countries and regions participating. The event lasts 3 days, covering multiple categories including 8-person and 10-person boats, with 200m, 500m, and 2,000m sprint races, and debuting a 14km dragon boat marathon.
