English version — Xiangtan Municipal Civil Servant Transfer Selection Opens
The Organization Department of the CPC Xiangtan Municipal Committee has launched the 2026 open selection of civil servants for municipal-level departments. Positions are at the level of first-class principal staff member and below. Eligible applicants are registered, currently serving civil servants in municipal-level and lower organs across the city, plus registered staff of institutions managed under the Civil Servant Law; qualified personnel of central and provincial organs stationed in Xiangtan may also apply. Candidates must have at least 2 years of grassroots work experience, 2 years of civil service experience, 2 years at their current level of organ, no annual appraisal below competent in the past 3 years, a bachelor's degree or above, and generally be under 38 (born after September 1987). Registration runs 9:00 September 7 to 17:00 September 10, 2026 on the Hunan Personnel Examination Network. Applicants upload a scanned organization-endorsed recommendation form and pay a written-test fee of 50 yuan per person within the same window. Admission tickets are printed September 17-19; the written test is held in Changsha on the morning of September 19, 2026, with results available in mid-October. Each applicant may select one provincial and one municipal position, and the written-test score applies to both. The registration window is only four days.
