Chongqing Municipal Market Regulation Bureau and Human Resources and Social Security Bureau issued the Measures for Administration of the Chongqing Mayor Quality Award (Yu Shi Jian Fa [2026] No. 92). The award has three categories: Mayor Quality Management Award, its nomination award, and Standards Innovation Contribution Award. The selection cycle is generally 2 years, with no more than 5 Mayor Quality Management Awards, 5 nomination awards, and 10 Standards Innovation Contribution Awards per session. Application is voluntary and free of charge. Who can apply: organizations registered and operating for over 5 years that have implemented performance excellence management for 3 years in agriculture, manufacturing, engineering, or services; legal or unincorporated entities that lead the development of national, industry, local, group, enterprise, or ISO/IEC/ITU international standards effective for 2 years; and individuals with over 5 years of standardization work and notable achievements.
