English version — Inner Mongolia Water Safety Exam Registration Opens Oct 13
Inner Mongolia's Water Resources Department has opened registration for the second batch of 2026 safety production exams for water and hydropower construction enterprise safety personnel. The exam covers Class A (enterprise principals), Class B (project managers) and Class C (full-time safety officers) certificates. Registration runs Oct 13-27, 2026, via the Inner Mongolia government service portal under the 'one thing at a time' channel, and is free of charge. The computer-based exam will be held Nov 13, 2026, 9:00-11:30 a.m., at test sites in Hohhot, Chifeng and Bayannur. Applicants must have a formal labor relationship with a registered Inner Mongolia contractor holding water conservancy and hydropower general contracting Grade 2 or below (or specialty contracting Grade 2 or below), complete at least 32 hours of safety training, and meet education and experience requirements. Class B applicants need a constructor license; Class C applicants need a technical secondary diploma plus 3 years of experience, or a college degree plus 2 years. Required documents include a photo, labor contract, three consecutive months of social insurance records (July-September or August-October), enterprise qualification certificate, training records, commitment letter and application form. Corrections must be submitted within 3 days of notification, with final review by Oct 30, 2026. Two consecutive no-shows bar registration for the 2027 first batch.
