Wuzhong 2026 'Renowned-Special-Quality-New' Individual Business Certification Applications Open

The Wuzhong Municipal Market Supervision Administration has opened applications for the 2026 "Renowned, Special, Quality and New" (名特优新) individual business certification, under Notice No. 45 (2024) of the Ningxia Market Supervision Department. The application window runs from October 1 to November 15. Individual businesses registered and operating in Wuzhong may apply voluntarily through the national cultivation platform at https://mtyx.gtgsh.com, or be recommended by competent departments or industry associations with their consent. No fees are charged. Certification covers four categories: Renowned, Special, Quality and New, and is generally drawn from "growth-type" and "development-type" businesses (Wuzhong's 2026 classification lists 5,873 growth-type and 250 development-type). Veterans, college graduates, persons with disabilities and returning rural entrepreneurs may qualify under relaxed criteria. Certification is valid for three years, with annual information reports due by end of July and possible three-year extension after evaluation. Applicants must have no unrepaired administrative penalties above a fine within two years, no dishonest-execution record, and no major safety accident last year.
