English version — Taizhou Health Tech Program Opens for Medical-Industry Joint Applications
Taizhou Science and Technology Bureau and Taizhou Health Commission launched a 2026 special support program for health and medical science projects on September 30, 2026. Five project categories are open: clinical key research, general clinical research, commercialization, young talent cultivation, and soft-science research. Projects generally run no more than 3 years (2 years for soft-science). The commercialization track targets medical-industry collaboration, covering high-end medical devices, diagnostic and testing methods, nursing products, clinical support tools, and hospital IT applications, with support for patents and software copyrights. Clinical key research covers tumor early screening, drug-resistance biomarkers, chronic disease risk prediction models, and AI-enabled smart healthcare. Eligibility is limited to full-time staff of Taizhou medical institutions and health research institutes; teams must include at least two members under 35 without funded projects. Funding comes mainly from the applicant's institution; no grant amount is specified in the notice.
